This piece is a lava flow of colors that is not my usual pallet—lime green, coral, gold—all flowing in ways that surprised even me. And isn’t that how life works sometimes? Just when we think we know the plan, God allows a curveball to stretch us, grow us, and invite us into something new.

This painting is about courage—about saying yes to change even when it doesn’t make sense. When we trust the One who sees the whole canvas, even the unexpected can become beautiful.
